Our story began in a college anatomy class where two lab partners became friends, who then became more. Twelve years later, here we are, two best friends loving and supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. Corey is a Firefighter-Paramedic, but also a teacher, a great cook, and very crafty. Elizabeth is a Public Information Specialist, loves to dance (in a class or around the house), prefers baking, and wishes she could be as crafty as Corey.

We are growing our family through adoption because becoming parents has always been a dream for us. Life just threw us for a loop when we discovered we would not become parents in the way we originally had planned. After giving ourselves time to heal and grow from the change in our plans, we opened our hearts again to a different plan, but continuing the same dream of becoming parents.
